Yup. Though unfortunately it’s nothing new. However, the state of Connecticut just recently issued an alert to parents regarding the use of Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) for infants and toddlers. Mainly, don’t do it. Because it can be deadly.
This is a great reminder to all of us to remember that kids are not just small adults. Can’t treat them the same and give them the same medications, period. So how DO you give kids meds if you need to? I give you the keys in today’s Daily Dose.
